Substrate: the base material of the PCB board, which usually consists of polymer synthetic resin and reinforcing material to form an insulating laminate.
Copper Clad Laminate: mainly composed of substrate, copper foil and adhesive. The surface of the substrate is covered with a layer of high conductivity, weldability is very good pure copper foil, copper foil covered in the substrate on one side of the copper cladding board known as single-sided copper cladding board, if the two sides of the substrate are all covered with copper foil is known as double-sided copper cladding board. The thickness of copper foil is usually 0.5oz-6oz (1oz=1.4mil), and different thicknesses are suitable for different types of circuit board designs.
Fibreglass cloth: is widely used in the manufacture of double-sided boards and multilayers, while epoxy resin and polyimide are used in the manufacture of high-density multilayers.
Hardeners: by reacting with epoxy resin to form a 3D mesh structure, which makes the PCB board have good mechanical properties and high temperature resistance.
